General Information

The first Rochdale Folk Festival runs 19th – 21st March 2021.

The festival brings together the very best of local and regional folk music and dance. Plus there’ll be lots of free activities to entertain the whole family.

We’ll showcase and celebrate our vibrant local heritage. It’ll be a great big party and after the challenges of 2020, we’ll definitely all be ready for one by then!

The festival is made up of a free live music in some of Rochdale’s best-loved pubs including The Medicine Tap and The Flying Horse, free street entertainment, including Morris Dancing and family activities in our ‘big top tent’ and a series of ticketed concerts at Touchstones Rochdale and St Mary’s in the Baum.

Confirmed ticketed concerts so far include The Furrow Collective, Rosie Hood Trio and Jones & Jones. Tickets for these events are available here.

Free music comes from Goat Roper Rodeo, The Scattering and Simon James.

More artists will be announced over the coming months.
